THE JASON ROSELIUS MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Jason Roselius was the epitome of what a Panhandle Panther should be.  He had all the characteristics that all of the great Panthers have had.  Jason was a leader, a loyal teammate, courageous, and a competitor.  He always went above and beyond what was asked of him to help his team be the best that it could be.  Off the field, Jason was a trusted and valued friend to many.  If you were a friend of Jason’s, you were a friend for life.

After leaving Panhandle High School, Jason set his sights on being an attorney.  During this time he used many of the valuable lessons learned from Stocky Lamberson and his Panther coaches to reach his goal.  Once Jason set his mind to do something, nothing was ever going to stop him.  Jason graduated from West Texas State with honors and then went to law school at the University of Oklahoma.  Because of Jason’s work ethic and vision he became one of the most successful attorneys in the state of Oklahoma.

Jason was very compassionate about people, especially the underdogs and the less fortunate.  He always strived to help those that needed a helping hand.  Jason never asked for praise for this, he just knew it was the right thing to do.  Even with all the success that Jason had in his career, he never forgot about where he came from and the people that helped make him who he was.

Jason lived every day like it was his last.  His favorite saying was “Buy the Ticket, Take the Ride”. He was never afraid to take chances and a wanted to live a life that had no regrets.  Jason Roselius will be missed greatly but never forgotten.
